01About the practice

Vin’s Clinic is a telehealth medical practice operated by Dr Vinay Patel (AHPRA registration MED0002635284), ABN 16 358 363 634, based in Bondi Beach, NSW. All consultations are conducted by Dr Patel by phone.

The content on this website is general in nature and is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis, or a therapeutic claim. Nothing on this website should be relied upon as a substitute for a consultation with a registered medical practitioner. Treatment decisions are made during a clinical consultation after a proper assessment of your individual circumstances.

03Telehealth consultations

All consultations are conducted by phone. Video consultations are not offered. You are responsible for ensuring you are available at the scheduled time, in a private location, and able to answer your phone when called. Telehealth is not appropriate for all clinical situations. If Dr Patel determines that your concern requires in-person examination, imaging, or specialist assessment, you will be referred accordingly. You must be physically located in Australia at the time of your consultation.

04Prescribing

Any medication prescribed is based on clinical assessment and is at Dr Patel’s sole clinical discretion. A booking does not guarantee a prescription. Prescriptions are issued only where clinically appropriate after a proper medical assessment, and within the Australian regulatory frameworks administered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). Any additional regulatory requirements that apply to a particular therapy are explained during the consultation. You are responsible for informing Dr Patel of all current medications, supplements, and relevant medical history. Incomplete or inaccurate disclosure may affect the safety and appropriateness of any treatment.

05Bookings and appointments

Appointments are booked through our practice management platform (Tacklit). You will receive confirmation and any required intake forms by email. First consultations are approximately sixty minutes. Follow-up consultations are shorter and scheduled based on clinical need. You are expected to attend your appointment at the scheduled time. 06Fees and payment

Consultation fees are displayed at the time of booking and are charged via Stripe through our practice management platform. Payment is taken at the time of booking or prior to the consultation as specified. Some consultations may attract a Medicare rebate where eligibility criteria are met. This is discussed at booking. The cost of any prescribed medication is separate and is paid directly to your pharmacy.

07Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during intake and consultations. You agree to attend scheduled follow-up appointments where these form part of your treatment plan. You agree not to use this service for emergency or urgent medical care. For emergencies, dial 000. For after-hours non-emergency concerns, call Healthdirect on 1800 022 222.

08Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, design, illustrations, and layout, is owned by Vin’s Clinic and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without written permission.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Vin’s Clinic’s liability for any claim arising from the use of this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant consultation. This does not limit or exclude any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
